On May 8, 2009, Frank received a heart transplant at the Heart Specialty and Transplant Center. It was the 301st transplant performed at Ascension Seton. Since that time, he welcomed five new grandchildren and one great grandchild into his family. Frank was able to enjoy 16 ½ years of life made possible by that transplant. He and his family were always very grateful for his second chance. What a priceless gift!
