Support the Sister Gertrude Levy Endowment

For more than 40 years, Sister Gertrude blessed the hallways of Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin (Seton Main) with her loving presence leaving a legacy that is still very much felt today. Her presence was a constant source of comfort to families in their darkest hours and their brightest.

Sister Gertrude also poured her heart into fundraising for Seton. Before her time ended in Austin, the Sister Gertrude Levy Endowment was established. This endowment was created in service to those most in need, continuing her legacy of compassion for the poor and vulnerable. The fund provides vital support for initiatives such as the McCarthy Clinic, programs that address patient food insecurity, compassion closets, and other essential resources that bring comfort and dignity to our patients. Since its inception, the endowment has provided more than $2 million in support.
